TeckWrap
Chrome Solar Gold Vinyl Wrap (CHM21-HD) 1

Description

Most chrome golds go harsh, too yellow, or foil-cheap. TeckWrap's Solar Gold doesn't. It holds a warm champagne-amber mirror that reads molten and dense rather than flashy.

Key Attributes

  • Champagne-gold mirror: warm champagne-amber gold mirror chrome with a dense, molten reflection.
  • Chrome construction: conformable PVC film with a metallic silver coating for a true reflective mirror surface.
  • High-impact shine: a liquid-metal mirror reflection built for accents and statement panels.
  • Clean chemistry: Henkel solvent-based moderate adhesive, removable and gentle on factory paint.
  • Controlled placement: air-release channels and a stable film, under 0.20% shrinkage, for precise application.
  • Installer-grade: limited stretch by design, best applied by experienced installers on partial wraps with steam or IR heat.

Solar Gold runs warmer and deeper than the usual chrome gold, more champagne and amber than yellow, with soft bronze in the shadows and a mirror surface that pours like liquid metal instead of flashing like foil. It doesn't chase a production paint color; it lives in the world of bespoke gold commissions and concept-car palettes, the molten-metal look you see on hypercars and VIP show builds rather than anything off a factory line. Like every true chrome it trades stretch for shine, so it belongs on roofs, accent panels, and detail work rather than a full body. On the right car it reads like a luxury-watch coating.

OEM Match

  • Porsche Exclusive Golden Yellow Metallic: closest match, same warm, saturated gold-yellow character visible on the Charger's hood and fenders.
  • Ferrari Oro Chiaro Metallizzato: same bright-gold family, genuine Ferrari factory color.
  • Mercedes Champagne Gold: sits more muted and beige by comparison, useful as the toned-down end of the spread rather than a close match.

Roofs, accent panels, mirror caps, and full statement details are where Solar Gold earns its keep. Put a molten champagne-gold mirror on a build that's meant to look like nothing else on the road.
