TeckWrap
Matte Pearl Black Vinyl Wrap (CM15) 1

Description

Matte black wraps usually go one of two ways: completely flat with nothing happening at any angle, or loaded with so much sparkle that it stops reading as paint. TeckWrap Matte Pearl Black splits the difference. A soft pearl shimmer sits under the matte topcoat, surfacing only when light catches it directly, while the base stays a true, deep matte black the rest of the time.

Key Attributes

  • Shimmer: a fine pearl effect only shows itself at the right angle or under direct light; otherwise the surface reads as clean matte black.
  • True matte base: stays non-reflective and flat-finished even with the pearl pigment underneath, with no gloss creep and no satin sheen.
  • Premium polymeric hybrid film: built with air-release channels for a smooth, bubble-free install.
  • Adhesive that lets go clean: Henkel solvent-based acrylic, transparent and weather-resistant, removes without leaving residue.
  • Heat-conformable: stretches cleanly around mirrors, bumpers, door handles, and recessed panels.
  • Paint-safe removal: peels off clean and protects the factory finish underneath.

Head-on and in flat light, Matte Pearl Black reads as a uniform, no-frills matte black, with no visible fleck and no texture. Move around the vehicle, or catch it under direct sun or angled headlights, and a fine pearl shimmer rises across the panel before fading back to flat black as the angle shifts again. It's a quieter effect than a metallic flake wrap, the shimmer is meant to be noticed up close, not to announce itself from across a parking lot, which keeps the finish reading as a refined factory matte rather than an aftermarket sparkle wrap.

OEM Match

  • Pearl character closest to Honda Crystal Black Pearl and Jeep/Chrysler's Diamond
  • Black Crystal Pearlcoat: the same soft, multi-tone shimmer.
  • Base depth closest to BMW Individual Frozen Black Metallic or Mercedes-Benz designo Magno Night Black: the same low-sheen, velvety black.

No automaker currently builds both into one paint: pearl finishes come in gloss, and factory mattes skip the pearl. TeckWrap Matte Pearl Black is that combination in one film, normally split across two separate special-order programs.
